OPPO Says They Are Following Indian Privacy Laws

Chinese mobile phone maker OPPO has expressed its assurance that it is fully compliant with India’s privacy laws, and that all of its devices come with an antivirus software from Avast.

The statement came after the government’s recent move to scrutinize device security measures installed by manufacturers of smartphones sold in India.

The Dongguan-based global smartphone company added that all personal data gathered is saved on AWS servers which are fully compliant with Singaporean privacy protection rules.
