06 Oct Apple CEO to Give Keynote Speech at EU Data Privacy Conference
Apple CEO Tim Cook is scheduled to deliver his keynote speech at the 2018 International Conference of Data Protection and Privacy Commissioners on Wednesday, October 24,
Cook will be speaking at a public conference session called “Debating Ethics: Dignity and Respect in Data Driven Life”. His message is expected to start a global discussion on the “rights and wrongs in the development and use of digital technology”.
The panel will also be attended by the inventor of the World Wide Web Sir Tim Berners-Lee, former Indian chief justice Jagdish Singh, philosopher Anita Allen, HKUST AI research director Pascale Fung and computer philosophy writer Jaron Lanier.
