Mozilla Suspends Ads on Facebook Due to Data Privacy Scandal

Mozilla Corp announced earlier this week that it has suspended its ads on Facebook’s platform because of the recent data privacy scandal that rocked the social network.

In a blog post, Mozilla said that they have found that Facebook’s current default settings leave access open to a lot of data especially those in relation to settings for third party apps, and added that it may return once Facebook improves its privacy settings.

UK ad group ISBA also threatened to pull its ads if investigations find that user data had been misused on the platform.
